Assessment

We specialize in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations designed to bring clarity after years of navigating challenges. You may be wondering if you're on the Autism Spectrum or have ADHD. You may be seeking accommodations for a learning disorder. You may just feel stuck and are seeking a way forward. Through the testing process, we identify your unique strengths and areas for growth, empowering you to gain self-understanding, strengthen relationships, enhance work performance, and explore pathways for healing. At the end of testing, you are provided with a 10 to 20 page PDF report and a feedback session. Each customized evaluation offers insights into:

Evaluation Process

1. Initial Consultation

Connect with Dr. Caldwell over a free 20 minute call to address any questions or concerns about testing.

4. Testing

Each assessment battery is individually tailored. Testing includes a mix of interactive tasks and computerized measures to capture a well-rounded view. Testing is conducted in person and typically takes 3 to 4 hours. To gain a broader perspective, Dr. Caldwell may also consult with a family member.

2. Forms

Using a secure client portal, provide a detailed personal history by filling out intake paperwork. 

5. Report

Dr. Caldwell creates an in-depth report that synthesizes the testing data and provides personalized recommendations tailored to your profile. If a clinical diagnosis is warranted, it will be included.

3. Clinical Interview

Dr. Caldwell conducts a comprehensive interview to gain a deeper understanding of your personal history and experiences. This collaborative conversation helps ensure the assessment process addresses your unique needs.

6. Feedback

Dr. Caldwell guides you through the test findings in a collaborative, one-hour session, helping you gain a clear and meaningful understanding of the results. Following this discussion, you will receive a finalized PDF version of your report.

IQ Testing

We offer IQ testing for individuals of all ages, providing insights across multiple areas of learning and cognition. These assessments help identify cognitive strengths and challenges, offering valuable information for personal growth, educational planning, or workplace needs. IQ testing can also support applications to specialized schools, gifted programs, or other academic opportunities. We administer Wechsler Intelligence Tests, recognized as the gold standard in psychological assessment.

Testing is done in person and takes around 2 hours. Results are delivered via a PDF report within 24 hours. 

Psychotherapy

Dr. Caldwell provides psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults seeking insight into the roots of their distress. Self-understanding fosters subtle yet meaningful changes in daily life, allowing relief to emerge naturally. She offers a safe and confidential space for you to explore what feels relevant, trusting that clarity will unfold. This process leads to a more authentic connection with yourself and others. In sessions, Dr. Caldwell offers a grounded presence and attentive listening, inviting a relationship for healing and growth. Weekly sessions are recommended, and they can occur in person or virtually. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

Dr. Caldwell has clinical expertise in anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, family dynamics, relational issues, self-esteem, infertility, parenting, and the creative process. She welcomes people who identify as outsiders. She recognizes how cultural lineage shapes our lived experiences and she invites clients to explore their own cultural inheritance during sessions. People who identify as LGBTQ+ are welcome here.
