Welcome. I approach assessments from a collaborative, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming perspective. I have a talent for asking the right questions to uncover issues that others may overlook and am invested in understanding your unique story. My goal is to weave together the different threads of your past to shed light on who you are today.

I am experienced in assessing people of all ages and with a wide range of presenting concerns, but my greatest passion is to assess adults and adolescents. I am interested in the intersection of personality structure, mood, and neurodivergence. I developed a niche speciality while working in Silicon Valley and providing psychological evaluations for software engineers. Despite their gifted intelligence, these individuals sought help for difficulties in relationships, the workplace, and everyday tasks of daily life. Our work together equipped them with tools to better understand their strengths and challenges, as well as how to advocate for themselves.

I also provide assessments for the East Bay Regional Center, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and connecting them to community resources.

In addition to my assessment experience, I have been providing psychotherapy since 2016. I have received high-quality training in private practice and university settings, as well as community mental health clinics. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, which focuses on uncovering the underlying causes of emotional difficulties rather than merely addressing symptoms.

Before becoming a psychologist, I worked as a teacher, which contributes to my understanding of individual development and family systems. I am also a trained studio artist, using art as a medium to explore my own inner world. Originally from the east coast, I relocated to the Bay Area in 2010, where I now live with my husband and our two children.
